Club service begins with the fundraisers needed to support the many activities that benefit our communities and extended community.
We particularly enjoy the "Evening in the Orchard" hosted by Christa Campbell and her husband Tom Heflin. Held in September, in the height of Apple Hill Season, this event features dinner, entertainment, raffles and actions at Rainbow Orchards. The event typically benefits one of the local schools special projects and funds the Dictionary for third graders program.

In December, Breakfst with Santa, a free community event is in it's third year in 2009. Each year Santa arrives with much fanfare curtesy of the Fire Service and EMT (when available). Over 400 locals enjoyed the pancake and sausage breakfast this year. Included in the event is one photo with Santa, crafts for the children to make while waiting to see Santa and of course a small gift and candy cane from Santa himself.
Food baskets are donated and distributed with the help of ALTA to many families in the area at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The Community Flea Market, the third Saturday each month from April/May to October provides a necessary community service. Our communities are far reaching and folks may not be able to have individual garage sales thus the Flea Market supplies this opportunity. El Dorado Savings Bank provides the use of their parking lot. The fees for the vendor spaces provides funds for the club.
Our ongoing Scholarship program provides scholarships to two students residing in Pollock Pines or Camino.
